According to the president of the Fire Department Association of Serbia, the volunteer fire department from Požega is one of the best VFD in Serbia.

However, regardless the fact that many recognised the quality of our work, there was no financial support from those who are legally obliged to finance such associations.

In order to achieve full efficiency, it is necessary to buy an off-road vehicle. We need to reach the most distant places in our municipality in order to help the endangered population, in different weather conditions.
